Playoff Picture: All six Eastern Conference playoff spots are filled, with Jacksonville winning the Southeast due to tiebreakers with Boston. Washington and Ohio both can still win the top seed, with the Federals controlling their own destiny. New Jersey, Pittsburgh and Chicago have locked up the three Wild Card positions, and Boston is eliminated from playoff contention due to a worse conference record than the Machine or Maulers.
In the West, the same three teams (Denver, LA, New Orleans) have locked in berths, with 6 teams all within one game of .500 and fighting for 3 positions. Birmingham, Seattle, and Texas all control their destiny, win and they are in. Nashville, Memphis, and Portland are alive, but need help to qualify as losses by any of the three 7-6 teams could provide an opening but tiebreakers will be messy depending on who falls to 7-7 and who rises to 7-7 to compete for the Wild Card.
