Hi everyone. I am slowly building towards the 1995 expansion, when the USFL will move from 20 teams to 24. This brings up an issue due to the limitations of the Draft Day Football '21 system I am using to simulate the league and track stats. DDF21 allows for 2 types of 24-team league. One is a 4-division format with 6 teams in each division and a 16-game season. The other is a 6-division format, with 4 teams in each division, but only with a 14-game season. I prefer the 6 division format, but am not a fan of dropping to 14 games. So, I want to poll the folks who follow the site and see what you would prefer to see. Here again are your two options, please use the comment section below to give me your preference and your thoughts.
OPTION 1: 6 Divisions of 4 teams each, playing a 14-game season.
OPTION 2: 4 Divisions of 6 teams each, playing a 16-game season.
Thanks for your input and your support.
Yup, looks like 4x6 teams is the way to go. Maybe someday they will expand to 28 and we can then go to a 6 division format.
I'm also going with the 4 divisions of 6 teams each option, that seems to be the consensus here so far, I also don't see the league dropping two games from its schedule
Option 1 is the way to go
Have to go option 1 for realism reasons. The USFL wouldn’t be going down to 14 games
I go with option 1
