Playoff Picture: A windfall for teams looking to clinch playoff spots but we have not seen teams clinch their divisions yet. Ohio and Arizona have locked up the first playoff spots in the West, both at 9-3 and potentially dueling for the top spot. Jacksonville, New Jersey, and Tampa Bay are in the postseason in the East, with New Jersey still only 1 game behind the 10-2 Cannons.
Were the playoffs to start today, New Orleans would win the South, Atlanta would also qualify in their 1st year of existence. LA, Seattle, Houston and Michigan would also be in out West, with Las Vegas and Denver on the outside. Eliminated from playoff contention are Washington, Baltimore, Memphis, Pittsburgh, and Texas, with Orlando, Philadelphia, Chicago and Oakland still mathematically alive.
