The split between haves and have nots has never been more obvious in the WFL than this week. We have the Americans clinching a playoff spot with a chance to play at home the entire postseason. We have the Bell and Stars still alive for the final spot with New York/New Jersey already making plans for next year, and we have the WFL announcing that only 8 teams will compete in the 1976 season with the financially flaky Portland Storm and Florida Blazers declared to be "on hiatus" as of next week. A lot to ponder as the league heads towards its final week of the regular season and many fans wonder what the future will hold.
The signing of Riggins will put the Stars in title contention next year. Probably IDK the East is stacked
