2009 USFL Week 13 Standings & League Leaders

PLAYER OF THE WEEK: LB Mike Maslowski helped Portland wrap up the franchises first playoff berth with a huge game against Michigan. Maslowski finished the day with 2 sacks, a forced fumble, a recovery and a defensive TD as his big play helped Portland win by a slim 5 points.

PLAYOFF PICTURE: Eleven of the fourteen playoff spots have now been claimed, but that means three are still up in the air with one week of action left in the regular season. All three Western Divisions are clinched, with Oakland, Michigan, and Denver locking up the top spots. Chicago and Portland are guaranteed Wild Card spots as well. In the East, only Orlando has clinched their division title, while Baltimore and Nashville can still be knocked down to a Wild Card in the season's final week.

Week 13 also brings us to 9 teams eliminated from contention, leaving Charlotte, Atlanta, Pittsburgh, Seattle and Las Vegas as the 5 teams currently on the outside but each with their own unique combination of results which could grab them a playoff spot.
